Sea glass is naturally weathered and shaped by time in the ocean. Each piece is carefully selected and set with durability in mind, but it is still glass and should be worn with care. Sea glass can crack or break if dropped, struck, or placed under pressure. Because of its natural origin, breakage is not considered a defect.
When working with customer-provided sea glass, variations in thickness, shape, and surface texture—especially pieces that are uneven or thin—can increase the risk of cracking during fabrication. While every effort is made to preserve your piece, breakage is an inherent risk when working with ocean-worn glass.
